Spurs are set to end the busiest transfer window of their modern era with a flurry of both outgoings and incomings.

The club have spent over £300 million over the course of the summer, having signed Sandro Tonali, Matheus Fernandes, Savio, and Jan Paul van Hecke for fees ranging from £52 million to £100 million.

Tottenham have also added all three of Marcos Senesi, Martin Dubravka and Andy Robertson on free transfers, as well as Omar Marmoush on an initial loan with an obligation to buy for £60 million.

Outgoings have also played a big part in Roberto De Zerbi’s rebuild and overhaul of personnel. Cristian Romero, Djed Spence and Luka Vuskovic make up the Lilywhites’ three most expensive departures of the summer, with £135 million in total fees raked in, not including potential add-ons, options to buy or obligations to buy.

So with just 12 hours left to go until the window closes, who can Spurs fans expect to see depart, who can they expect to see sign and what other deals may potentially happen?

Confirmed Outgoings

Koto Takai

The Japanese centre-half is yet to feature competitively for Spurs since signing from Kawasaki Frontale for around £5 million in 2025.

The 21-year-old was sent out on loan to Borussia Monchengladbach last January for the second half of the season, featuring 8 times in the Bundesliga before succumbing to an injury that hindered his minutes.

Takai has now been sent out on loan for the 2026/27 season to STVV, or Sint-Truiden, who play in the Belgian Pro League, finishing 10th last time out.

Kevin Danso

Roberto De Zerbi alerted the media following his side’s defeat at home to Newcastle United that Danso had asked to leave the club in the final days of the transfer window.

The Austrian, signed from RC Lens in January 2025, had been seeking regular minutes and reportedly was left very frustrated after not starting in the Carabao Cup against Charlton Athletic.

Danso had interest from a whole host of Premier League clubs, with Sunderland acting quickest to secure his services on an initial season-long loan and an obligation to buy of £25 million.

The player has travelled for a medical and will be confirmed as a Mackem later today.

Pape Sarr

It was confirmed yesterday that Juventus had struck a deal with Tottenham for the signature of Pape Sarr - an initial loan with an obligation under certain conditions to buy for €30 million.

The Senegalese midfielder had been frozen out by De Zerbi, having not featured in the matchday squad of any of the Lilywhites’ three opening games.

Sarr had been considered surplus to requirements following the acquisitions of Matheus Fernandes and Sandro Tonali and Lucas Bergvall’s decision to stay at the club.

Official communication from the Old Lady is expected soon.

Potential Outgoings

Richarlison

There has been much said in the past day or so by Richarlison, with much of the fanbase attacking the Brazilian for holding up a deal for Iliman Ndiaye and allowing Manchester City back into the race.

Ndiaye ultimately chose City, and Richarlison refused a move to Everton reportedly because of a dispute over wages.

The 29-year-old’s relationship with the club seems all but broken hence, a late move today is yet to be ruled out.

De Zerbi, like Danso, announced after the Newcastle game that Richarlison had asked to leave “too many times”.

Lucas Bergvall

It seems unlikely that Bergvall will leave Tottenham, but not impossible following an enquiry made by Chelsea to secure the 20-year-old in recent hours.

The Swedish midfielder had asked to leave the club in the early knockings of the transfer window but had reportedly changed his mind following reassurances about game time from manager Roberto De Zerbi.

A move cannot yet be ruled out.

Confirmed Incomings

Mykhailo Mudryk

Following losing out on Ndiaye to Manchester City, Spurs quickly pivoted to one of De Zerbi’s former prodigies, Mykhailo Mudryk.

The Italian managed the Ukrainian at Shakhtar Donetsk before his €100 million move to Chelsea in 2023.

During Spurs’ pre-season tour this summer, De Zerbi referred to Mudryk as a ‘son’.

The 25-year-old hasn’t played in a competitive fixture for 2 years after failing a drugs test in 2024.

Mudryk is set to sign for Spurs on loan with an option to buy for £75 million at the end of the loan.

Tosin Adarabioyo

Adarabioyo will complete a double swoop from Chelsea following confirmation yesterday that Tottenham had agreed a £7 million fee for the centre-back’s services.

Spurs acted quickly to replace Kevin Danso, with de Zerbi viewing the defender as someone highly capable on the ball and a real leader.

The Englishman featured 16 times in the league for Chelsea last season, having signed from Fulham in 2024.

Potential Incomings

Neco Williams

Spurs are still keen to add a right-back before the deadline closes, having not yet replaced Djed Spence.

Archie Gray is seen as someone who can cover when Pedro Porro is unavailable, but ideally Tottenham would want a natural full-back to allow Gray to play in his natural position.

Neco Williams is a name really appreciated at Spurs, and whilst a deal would be difficult this late on, a move could still be on the cards.

Jean Phillipe Mateta

Another forward is still desired by De Zerbi but this late on it is much more a case of who’s available as opposed to who’s desirable.

Mateta has been keen to make a move away from Crystal Palace and is certainly an option for Spurs, especially should Richarlison move on.

The Frenchman has become somewhat of a Premier League talisman, scoring 26 goals in the past two seasons.
