Manor Solomon Set For London Switch

Manor Solomon is set to swap North for East London as Tottenham agree a £7 million deal, made up of £5 million fixed and £2 million in add-ons, with West Ham United.

The winger will sign a deal until June 2029 with the option of an additional year with the Hammers, having only made six competitive appearances for Spurs over the course of three seasons.

Solomon spent last season on loan at Fiorentina, in which he registered 2 Serie A goals, and had spells on loan at both Villarreal and Leeds during his Spurs tenure.

The Israeli featured heavily in Spurs’ pre-season tour of Australia and New Zealand but had reportedly been told that he wasn’t a part of Roberto De Zerbi’s plans for the upcoming season.

Solomon becomes Tottenham’s sixth significant sale of the summer, taking player sales up to an eye-watering £97 million. Radu Dragusin does not fall into this bracket, with his departure to Fiorentina a loan with an obligation to buy.

More senior sales are expected to follow, with Cristian Romero and Guglielmo Vicario actively seeking futures away from Tottenham. Ashley Phillips is likely to be the next to depart, however, with formalities just to complete before his move to Middlesbrough.

Sales of Pape Matar Sarr, Djed Spence, Lucas Bergvall, Richarlison and Rodrigo Bentancur are yet to be ruled out, with the Lilywhites seemingly entering an action-packed end to the window.
