Omar Marmoush is a Tottenham player following official communication from the club.
The Egyptian forward joins on an initial season-long loan with an obligation to buy for £60 million (£50 million + £10 million add-ons).
The deal completes a double swoop from Manchester City following the transfer of Savio on Tuesday.
He will wear thenumber 22.
In his first interview with the club, Marmoush said, "It feels amazing to be here. I'm so excited to get started with the team and I can't wait to meet the fans.”
"Tottenham Hotspur is one of the biggest clubs in England, if not the world, and the project was very attractive to me.”
"I've spoken with the Head Coach, I loved what he had to say and I'm sure our passion for the game will go very well together."
The forward had been a part of Roberto De Zerbi’s three priority forwards for Spurs to sign, with Savio and Cody Gakpo the other two.
De Zerbi said, “Omar is exactly the kind of player we want at this club - ambitious, hungry and determined to make a difference.”
"He has incredible attacking quality but what I also love is his desire to improve and to win.”
"He brings pace, intelligence and a real threat in front of goal, and I believe he can take our attacking play to another level."
Marmoush did his best work in Germany with Eintracht Frankfurt, scoring 37 goals and adding 20 assists in 67 appearances.
That earned him a move to Manchester City in January 2025, netting a hattrick on debut against Tottenham’s next Premier League opponents Newcastle United.
Since then, the 27-year-old has struggled for regular game-time at the Citizens but has found the net a respectable 16 times in 62 games.
With less than a week left of the window, one could assume the Lilywhites business in 90% done with an attack for Cody Gakpo still expected to materialise and a few outgoings expected.
